Prep Best Used For: Mild Softener in which most comes back out of the tire. Used on dirt and pavement. Gets heat fast and provides adhesion in the middle of the race. Works great with all others as a carrier. Drops tires only a few points.

Top 5 is a great adhesion or traction prep. Top 5 will get the tires to come in quick and stay in. Applications will depend on situation. If the track requires a very soft tire, apply up to 8 coats with tire warmers or a Hot Box. If the track is hard and your kart requires a small amount of bite, apply 1 or 2 coats before you go out. Instructions On Using Top 5

Directions: Apply Top 5 to the top of the tire with a roller or brush for minimal grip. If you need a lot of grip apply up to 4 coats before you go out on the track. If more penetration is needed due to no grip, use your tire warmers and apply coats of Top 5 when the tires are hot. If the track requires a very soft tire, apply up to 8 coats with tire warmers or a Hot Box. If the track is hard and your kart requires a small amount of bite, apply only 1 or 2 coats before you go out.

During The Week: Top 5 can be used during the week as a base coat with a tire conditioner. Apply two coats Tuesday before racing on Saturday. Top 5 works great with Condition X & HL tire conditioners. When using Condition X or HL, from the outside, apply two coats of Top 5 on the first day of conditioning.

CAUTION: COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID & VAPOR. Contains Petroleum Distillates. Wear gloves when applying Top 5. Do not touch with bare hands. And, with all preps, do not inhale fumes or ingest it in any way. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not allow tire preps to touch body parts in any way. You will need to seek immediate medical attention if swallowed. Remove clothes if contaminated. In case of fire use water fog or dry chemical. In case of spill, use sand or soap and water.
