Big red
Prep Type: Mild Softener for tracks that are dusty or glazed. Has worked on wet tracks that are hard though. Great Saturday night track prep.
Great mixer with other preps. Will get bite on it's own but works great with other preps. Repeated use can make it gets tons of grip. Big Red is the best prep ever designed for dusty race tracks. Big Red will provide grip on tracks that have a little dust or a lot of dust. Big Red will also get grip on tracks that are wet underneath and have a dust layer on top. Big Red is also the choice for “farm dirt” race tracks where there is no clay. Big Red will also work really well when mixed with Black and mixes with most preps currently available. Big Red also works on concrete tracks where grip is at a premium.

Instructions For Using Big Red
Big Red is designed for tracks that are dusty or dry. Big Red will work on either dusty tracks that don’t have much grip or ones that do have a lot of grip. Either way, Big Red will supply you grip in dusty situations on all track types. Big Red also works very well when mixed with other tires preps such as Black and more. Big Red gives you instant bite making the kart faster at the start of the race and at the end of the race! Big Red will drop the durometer reading of your tire only a few points but can drop them more if you use tire warmers or heat.
Directions At The Track: Apply Big Red approximately 10 minutes before you go out to run. One or two coats will drop the tires around 2-3 points and give you good grip for the whole race. If you need a lot of grip, apply up to 5 coats before you go out with tire warmers. 5 coats will drop the durometer reading up to 8 points. If mixing with Black in an attempt to get grip and adhesion, mix 12 OZ of Big Red to 1 OZ of Black.
During The Week: Big Red works great on “farm dirt” race tracks but applications will be necessary during the week. Apply two coats Monday and two coats Tuesday. If this does not provide you with the grip you need, increase your during the week prepping by 3-5 additional coats. Use at the track as a top coat prep. If more grip is needed add 1 OZ of Ole Yeller to the mix at the track. Additional grip can also be obtained for dusty tracks by using a few coats of HL or Condition X during the week along with Big Red. You can also try a conditioner program during the week and Big Red at the track in dusty and “farm dirt” situations.
CAUTION: COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID & VAPOR. Contains Petroleum Distillates. Wear gloves when applying Top 5. Do not touch with bare hands. And, with all preps, do not inhale fumes or ingest it in any way. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not allow tire preps to touch body parts in any way. You will need to seek immediate medical attention if swallowed. Remove clothes if contaminated. In case of fire use water fog or dry chemical. In case of spill, use sand or soap and water.
